My Favorite Day of the Year
You may think it is my Birthday, Christmas, Easter, Halloween or even New Years Eve or countless other holidays. All of those occasions have gifts, or candies, or celebrations. But it's not, it's today. December 21st. Why you ask? Well, it's usually (or very close to) the shortest day of the year for daylight.
Which means.......the days get longer from here on in, of course, only until mid-summer, where they start shrinking again. For a good six months we are having longer days everyday. The sun rises a bit earlier and the sun sets a little bit later.
