I made it to Colorado Springs in daylight. The drive from Gunnison to Colorado Springs was uneventful, but beautiful. I snapped some photos, which don't do any justice to the panoramic views l saw. The sun shone the whole way (to Colorado Springs), the traffic was light. It was a good drive.
The sun set quickly behind the mountains and when l came out of Barnes and Noble, it was pitch black.
So l haven't had a chance to get a feel for where l am. I did leave the mountains way behind me. The landscape is mostly flat, l am close to the boarder of Kansas, so that should give you an idea of how flat it is here.
Time to hit the hay,
