Andy Rooney

Andy Rooney past away on Friday at 92.

I remember watching Andy Rooney on 60 Minutes with my parents on Sunday nights growing up.  He always had opinion on little things that we all thought,  he put into words.  And comment on the absurdsity of life.  His segment would only last a minute or two, but were entertaining, enlightening, and so much like what us Bloggers do today.  Observe life, how it is lived, and comments on it.

Thanks Andy!  Rest in Peace.

  1. Hi Tammy,

Thanks for opting in for my free book. Maybe it will help you in your decision as to what van to buy. A minivan is economical, but there's a lot to be said for the larger ones, too, even though the mileage isn't as great. Let me know if I can be of any help.

I had to come check out your site. I noticed it's a little difficult to navigate... no previous or next buttons, and no listing of the individual posts within a given month. But that's in the settings. I know you're new, and that you will learn. I have a long way to go on my own, too... I just started the site in April.

The best advice I can give is to always check out everyone else's blog for their recommended sites. There's some really great ones out there, but they don't always use the best keywords to get found by the search engines by those who are really looking for them. Sometimes the only way to find them is through recommendations by other people who have run across them by accident. It seems only marketers know about using keywords properly.

But hang in there. I've added your site to my list of travel reading, so I'm looking for great things from you (no pressure there, right?).

  2. Thanks John! I've boogied over to yours also (which l found mentioned on someones elses) and added it to my favorites. And l am halfway through your book. Thanks for writing it. Very helpful! Some great ideas. Can't wait for the pictures.

I am a rookie with the website, the plan is to get better. I'm just waiting for my new Nook to charge so l can then go buy some books at amazon.com to teach me how to "improve" it. I'm looking forward to the learning curve and being on top of it!!!!

Take care, maybe see you on the road someday!
    Tammy
