Meeting the Neighbours

I went out for a walk tonight, checking out the park, and was approached by a couple of different neighbours.  It's amazing how friendly people are in a RV Park setting.  I've lived places in a sticks and bricks home where my neighbours don't come out and introduce themselves, or even say Hi, even when l have lived there for years.

It's such a relaxed atmosphere l love it.  I think being in nature and having a common interest (camping) bonds people and helps them open up and be more 'human'.  And this world could use some more 'human-ness'.

  1. I agree with you on the more human-ness thing. I've lived in this apartment 1.5 years and have only talked to maybe 3 neighbors in that whole time. This evening I passed one in the hall and she said she'd never seen me before and asked if I lived here... sheesh!

I do remember the friendliness of campers from my boating/camping days and can't wait to get back to that relaxed type of living.

You're a great inspiration Tammy... thanks for sharing your experiences!

  2. I love going to the park and meeting people. I don't have my RV yet but yes, it is such a different, open, friendly atmosphere. I'm so happy for you Tammy! :)
