I just booked a plane ticket to Vegas for beginning of April.
I'm not actually going to Vegas though, okay yes l am, it's just not my final destination. Confused yet?
I will be heading to Desert Palm, California for 5 days, it's cheaper to fly to Vegas, rent the car there, and an added bonus of driving through the desert in the spring time. I'm hoping to see the desert bloom.
When l fly in l will stay two nights in Vegas, then move on. I've been to Vegas a few times, and not really excited about being there, hotels are cheap though. Maybe l will go and drive to Red Rock Canyon, l have been there before, but not in the spring time.
That plane ride might be the last one for a long time for me. I will be moving into my van when l return home to Toronto. Pretty exciting stuff for me. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with my plans, 50 and 60's would be acceptable. I don't think l can expect more then that in April in Toronto.
Do you mean Palm Desert, CA? The weather here will be perfect then (I'm in Palm Springs). As you know, the Coachella Valley consists of 8+ cities... Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Indio, Thermal, etc, etc...

No, l didn't know that. I'm looking forward to the nice weather. Can't really complain about the weather this winter, but it is still winter. :-)
